The Christian Life Community is an international association of Christians.
It is composed of men and women, young and old, from all social conditions, who are passionate about the world in which they are living and about Jesus Christ, present in all the ordinary as well as the extraordinary events of their daily lives. Members make up small groups, which are part of larger communities organised regionally and nationally, all forming ONE World Community.
This movement, which is now called the Christian Life Community (CLC) was born over 450 years ago and is present in all five continents, in almost sixty countries.
The spirituality, or way of life of CLC is 'Ignatian', which means coming from St Ignatius of Loyola and based on his 'Spiritual Exercises'. Members of CLC try to follow Jesus as Ignatius understood him to be and live as he did: simply, integrating prayer and action, in solidarity with the poor and the outcasts of society and in all things, in a spirit of discernment, living lives of love and service within the Church.
